There are many golf course wedding venues in San Diego, like Rancho Bernardo Inn, as well as Twin Oaks! Obviously you don’t have to play golf, but if you are looking for a green backdrop, it’s a safe bet! Sometimes people opt for winery wedding venues if they want greenery, but that can be seasonal. When thinking about your wedding photography needs, consider how much of your wedding you want of your wedding covered. If you want getting ready photos, it is a lot easier when the wedding venue has a bridal and groom suite. This helps the timeline go smoother, when everything is on site.
On the other hand, I have had clients get ready at either a hotel or an air bnb or peerspace. This tends to happen with the wedding venue lacks getting ready locations. The fun part about renting a space is that you can search for tons of different backdrops until you find one that resonates with you. If you are having a big wedding party, then I would definitely consider having getting ready photos. This helps you get portraits with your bridal and groomsmen before the ceremony individually.
