WEDDING: Cuatro Cuatros, Valle De Guadalupe, Mexico
I don’t even know where to begin talking about these wedding photos I shot at Cuatro Cuatros in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico ! So let’s just start with “first look”.
This was such a beautiful day! Cuatro Cuatros in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico is an amazing venue to host your wedding day! For those of you that live in Southern California it will feel like a local destination wedding! You can either get ready at one of their glamping cabins or the “spa” room. Plenty of natural light at both spots.
I always do walk throughs around 2 weeks prior to the wedding date with my clients. This way we are all on the same page in deciding where to shoot the formal wedding portraits. The less thinking the day of, the more creativity the day of 😉 There were soooo many spots around Cuatro Cuatros to shoot formal wedding portraits at, I wish I could have just done that all afternoon! I like to give a variety of background options when shooting portraits, so the clients feel all the elements of their wedding day!
The decor was perfect for the venue. Simple rustic elegance! Jorge at Cuatro Cuatros set everything up beautifully! The bride and groom had a fun decor idea! They had flash card size cartoon photo of themselves and they hung it on the tree. It was a cute personal detail that made the party even more special. Love learning new ideas from weddings I shoot.
The moment finally arrived for the ceremony! The guests were shuttled up to Bar Bura at Cuatro Cuatros. If the scenery couldn’t get any better, cue OCEAN VIEW! The ceremony took place atop a cliff overlooking the ocean of Ensenada, Mexico. It was a little overcast that day, but the views were still amazing!
After the ceremony, the cocktail hour took off right away at the ceremony site. Everyone enjoyed cocktails and ocean views! The guests then hopped back on the private shuttle and they went back down to the BARCOS area of Cuatro Cuatros. Barcos means Ships in Spanish. No they didn’t go out onto the ocean, they had their reception next to the vineyards in a rustic area surrounded by two large wooden ships! The bride and groom got to have a moment to themselves before their grand entrance and enjoyed a drink inside the ships! Also a great time to fix the bride’s bustle 😉 Their grand entrance was a first for me! Walking down the large wooden ship! What a way to greet the newly wedded couple! The music kicked off by ISAI Producciones was on point! Even I found myself dancing a little, couldn’t help it! The couple and their guests danced the night away!
What can I say? I LOVE this place! Feel free to reach out to me for more details on having your wedding day here. I would love to shoot wedding photos again at Cuatro Cuatros! Plus it gives you an excuse to go wine tasting as you scout the venue while preparing for your big day! Don’t worry if you don’t speak Spanish, cause I do 😉
