WEDDING photos: Pacific Edge Hotel, Laguna Beach
I don’t know where to even begin with this Laguna Beach wedding! It was absolutely magical!! Everything flowed seamlessly and the day kept getting better and better! As I was driving to the wedding, it was raining!! I was in shock as it was late summer and this was the first rain. By the end of the wedding day, the magical sun shined through beautifully! I am absolutely in love with these wedding photos: Pacific Edge Hotel, Laguna Beach and I hope you are too!

The details were phenomenal!! The bride and her family put the flowers together!! Such talent!! I was very impressed! Her shoes were from Schutz. So cute and definitely comfortable!! Here jewelry pieces came from her mom and her grandmother. Her beautiful boho dress, called the Merlot dress, was from none other than Reformation, gosh they make amazing dresses! It made the bride look like a Spanish/Italian princess. The groom’s watch was from Fossil. His shoes were from Cole Haan. I really hit the jackpot with this succulent wall garden! it couldn’t have been more perfect for the wedding dress shot. Originally when I scouted I had discarded that spot cause of the harsh light, but fortunately, it was still overcast and thus a green light to shoot!

The “casita” at the Pacific Edge Hotel was the perfect getting ready room for the bride and groom! It had a bedroom downstairs with a bathroom, then upstairs is a living area, kitchen and bathroom as well. There was a great amount of natural light coming in through the windows. White rooms, it was a great set up for getting ready photos and zipping of the dress!

Of course the backdrops don’t stop here. The entire hotel and the alley way provided us with some spectacular photo opps! On top of that, we had eyed this house with a beautiful garage that we wanted to use for the first look. When I went back in the morning to double check the area, I ran in to the owner and asked him if it was ok to shoot in front of his garage. Not only was he ok with it, but he invited us to shoot throughout his entire house!!!! We were blown away by his generosity and so grateful!! I wanted to cry by his kindness! Thank you for allowing me to photograph this awesome couple in your gorgeous home and giving them the best memories ever!!
