As a San Diego family photographer, you always want your clients to have the best experience! When shooting families with toddlers and babies, it can be challenging. For both the family and the photographer. The photographer wants to make sure he or she gets everyone in the shot with happy smiles if possible. The family wants to make sure both the baby and toddler are in good spirits, fed, clean, etc. So when you know of a great location near your clients home, that is always a plus! That is exactly what we did for this Tierrasanta Family Photos | Meghan + Scott! The location was down the street from their house and from their parents house. Much needed!
As a San Diego maternity photographer, I love when I get to continue to photograph the client! It’s such a privilege to be the one to capture the growth of the family! I had done their maternity shoot at Scripps Beach last year and I was so excited when they reached out to book their first family photoshoot as 4! This time we decided on a morning shoot to accommodate the baby’s sleeping schedule.
Meghan’s mom was the MVP of this family photo session! When the kids were starting to fade she came right in and pepped them up! She made them laugh and got their attention so we were able to capture a smily and happy family! If you ever have clients who have a family member nearby and wish to help out, I say the more the merrier! Especially with this session being 1.5 hours. This helped a lot and allowed me to capture some photos of just the parents too.
