Solana Beach Lifestyle Branding Photos | The WellBody Co.

Many brands and businesses went through a revamp this year amidst Covid. Many took the time to reflect on what they wanted their San Diego small business to mean and stand for. One Solana Beach barre studio, The Bar Method, created an entire new wellness studio called The WellBody Co. Jessica, the owner, reached out to me to shoot her lifestyle branding content for her social media and website!

I was super excited for this shoot, I knew it would be a lot of fun and I was so honored that she chose me to create her content for her big launch! I scheduled prep meetings so I could better understand what the WellBody Co. meant and stood for. I wanted to make sure we captured it’s essence in the branding photoshoot.

Once I had a good grasp on what the WellBody Co. stood for, I went ahead and scouted locations that felt aligned with the vibe and aesthetic of the shoot that Jessica was envisioning. Once I had locations picked out, I met with her to review them so that the day of, we knew exactly our plan of action.

I like to nerd out a lot before a shoot to make sure everything is as prepped as can be for the shoot. I even like to know about wardrobe. Jessica had shown me how beautiful the color palette was for her new branding that I suggested the girls be wearing each color in the palette as a monochromatic outfit. I am so glad she loved the idea because the photos came out amazing and I feel it makes an impact on her feed. Also, subliminally you associate the colors with her Solana Beach wellness studio. It keeps it cohesive.

Speaking of wardrobe, some of the ladies were wearing workout clothing or athleisure wear from Shop Muvmnt. Others had on leggings from Lulu Lemon. I liked having the more fiery color only used once as well as the bold marigold and the pastel pink and blue used twice.
