San Diego Couples Portrait Photos| Brenda + Joey

The holidays and Valentine’s are the season for gift giving. What better gift than a portrait session for your loved one or for yourself! With COVID still being present, many San Diego couples are opting for in home shoots! These San Diego couples portrait photos | Brenda + Joey, took place in their new home! It was the perfect way to share their new home with friends and family!

As we were celebrating their first home together I suggested we do a champagne spray! I am a fan of champagne sprays and we did one for their elopement too! So of course, we have to keep the tradition going! As it was the holidays, we also thought it would be a great idea to bake cookies! This way the kitchen photos can be super candid!

Not exaggerating, these were some of the best cookies ever!! They were the Pillsbury sugar cookies! What really made them over the top was the vanilla frosting! Joey had bought them at Target! We ate them right out of the oven!! So delicious and we definitely got a sugar high! The sun was setting and the light was coming right through the kitchen door! It couldn’t have been more perfect!

In home shoots are so fun! It’s a great way to show off your favorite spots around the house! Now that we are all spending more time at home, people have definitely been paying more attention to their home. I certainly have dabbled in interior design last year to make my home look as close to my Pinterest inspiration boards as possible!

Also, having your couples portraits taken is a fun way to wear all the outfits you weren’t able to show off this past year! People wrongly assume that couples portraits are only for engagement and wedding, but you can take couples portraits at any time! It’s definitely a great present and perfect for a Valentine’s gift!
