Scripps Beach Maternity Photos

Who doesn’t enjoy a picnic? For this styled maternity shoot we put together a boho style picnic at Scripps Pier. With the help of Cuffel Farms we had beautiful air plants. The Juiciest Fruit provided us with healthy snacks, because what mom doesn’t have a healthy eating pregnancy goal. 😉 Julia did an amazing job at putting it all together with her great set design skills!

We use the set for two versions of the shoot. One for husband and wife, expecting their first child! So this was a special shoot for them! The other version was gal pals again! Going from fast food retro in n out inspired shoot to healthy boho eating. We were pressed for time as Emily had to retouch their hair and makeup and adapt it to the boho look. She did an amazing job!!

We enjoyed feasting on the snacks and sipping that pink lemonade! It was cute to see the almost first time parents get excited about the pregnancy and play with the preggo belly! She was about one month out from her due date. They parents to be could not have been. more excited about it!!

Switching gears, time for the girls to get together! How fun to be pregnant at the same time as your best friend! They are only a few weeks apart from one another! Besties generation 2, in the making!

We made sure the fruit and cheese plate was mommy to be friendly! The Juiciest Fruit made a mouth watering platter!
