Marina Village Wedding Photos | Jamie + Josh
As a San Diego wedding photographer, we get to explore so much of San Diego through wedding venues. San Diego provides, whether it’s a garden wedding, beach wedding, city wedding and more! It you are into boats and want a more nautical wedding, you can consider Marina Village. There are a few hotels nearby that you can get ready at and then it’s just a quick 3 minute drive to the ceremony and reception site located at Marina Village. In these Marina Village Wedding Photos | Jamie + Josh got ready at The Dana Hotel. Pro tio- allocate more getting ready time to photograph the bride and groom individually at the Dana!

When you have a wedding timeline with multiple locations, it’s important to consider transportation time. Timelines rarely stay on time, it’s totally normal to be a little behind. To avoid feeling rushed, always add at least 30 minutes to an hour of extra time. Depending on what you value more, add the time there. For example, if you want more individual portraits of the bride and groom, then add extra time on the front end. If you prefer more party pictures, then add more time on the back end.

Marina Village can be a pretty big wedding venue. It depends on how much ground you want to cover. It is definitely a good idea to visit the property with your photographer to see how things are currently looking close to the wedding date. Seasons can affect the type of plants or foliage you see. The direction of where the sun sets also moves along the year. This way you can see how things will look on your wedding day. Also do this at the getting ready locations. Any location you plan on being on your wedding day.
