WEDDING photos: Imperial Beach, California
Wedding season is here whether the weather is ready or not! June gloom is in full effect! :/ These wedding photos: Imperial beach, California was a destination wedding for a couple from Washington state. They still had a smile on their face even though it was overcast. They even joked that the weather was better back home in Washington! Dream Beach Wedding still made it an effortless and smooth wedding!
The bride and groom had a special butterfly release moment at the beginning of the ceremony. There were about 20 butterflies being released from a decorative box. They were very excited about it. It was fun to shoot butterflies against the wedding dress.
Loved the pink accents of the wedding against the gray skies. The wedding floral arrangement was beautiful. It was an intimate wedding with very close family and friends who made the travels from the Pacific North West to the South West. I knew they were out of town when I was in a puffy jacket and the guests were in short sleeve shirts.
The bride could not be happier. Even though it was gloomy, her smile was radiant and created a light around her! It was so beautiful to witness and capture. There was also the flower giving ceremony to each mother of the bride and groom. A symbol of their support and love for their children.
It was very windy, but thankfully the bride had a braided detail for her wedding hairdo. I do recommend an up do if you suspect the weather condition will be windy. This way you don’t have to worry about your hair falling in front of your face.
The sand ceremony signifies the blending of the bride and grooms life coming together; separate lives, families and friends coming together. It’s a great keepsake from their wedding day as it has sand from the beach they got married on.
