Encinitas Personal Branding Photos | Kate Fair

As an Encinitas personal branding photographer, I love helping my clients elevate their brand through imagery. What is a personal branding photoshoot? It is when we create content that helps promote your brand. In this case, a personal brand means you are the brand. You most likely provide a service, whether it’s coaching, interior design, real estate, etc. You, not a product, are the brand. Visual imagery, photo content is necessary to showcase your website, socials, newsletter and more! The photos are a mixture of yourself and still life imagery that aligns with your service. In these Encinitas Personal Branding Photos | Kate Fair is an interior designer. We used her home as the location to showcase some of her projects and who she is as a person.

The prep work before your personal branding shoot is just as important as the photoshoot itself! This is not a session you want to show up for last minute. You are investing your time and money in this session and you want to maximize it as much as you can. Before your session you should have at least two phone calls with your photographer to discuss the creative. That includes wardrobe, location, goals, expectations, props, specific layout of images for certain placements on your website and more. You want your photographer to know ahead of time that you need a photo for the banner placement for example. This way you can check off things on your shot list.

Personal branding photo sessions are at least two hours long. You wan to have time to wear different outfits, use different props, go to different rooms etc. Some clients even do three hours. I think three hours is suffice. You will get tired and you want to keep your momentum up! You can always book another session later on. Sessions can be booked quarterly, bi annually or just once a year. Depends on how much content you need and how often you want to rotate the images.
