SDSU Grad Photos | GN
As a San Diego graduation portrait photographer, Its so fun to visit all the different campuses we have in San Diego. San Diego is home to some of the best colleges in the United States! Each campus is different and unique but very beautiful! As a bonus, with each college being so close to a beach, you can add a second location to your portrait session and hit up the beach too! With San Diego grad portrait season upon us, I cannot stress how important it is to get them done as early as you can. Now that depends on when your cap and gown delivers of course. I wouldn’t wait till too late in May or June as we can expect some gray weather along the coastline. In these SDSU Grad Photos | GN had a beautiful and might I say very floral grad portrait session!

SDSU has an earlier graduation time, with it being in May. This means we can, if we are lucky, still capitalize on all things spring florals! The campus has a beautiful rose garden area in front of the mission bells. Parking can be a little tricky, so make sure to give yourself some extra time. Your session does not have to be all photos in your cap and gown. You don’t even have to wear the cap if you don’t want to mess up your hair! This is your session and you can do all the different variations you want on gown, stols and outfits. Some choose to have one outfit the entire time, like the main look, and others want to switch into another look. It is all up to you, just make sure you have booked enough time with your photographer.

Make sure your shoes are comfortable! Campuses are big and thus a lot of walking can occur. If these are the first time you wear the shoes, make sure to break them in! You can always bring a back up pair of shoes too or comfy shoes to switch into to walk around. Something easy to slip on so you don’t waste too much time taking on and off the shoes.
