San Diego Personal Branding Photos | Bloom Alliances

As a San Diego personal branding photographer, I love learning about people’s services and working together to bring that to life visually! What is a personal brand photoshoot? It’s when photos are taken of the person who is the brand. This means the brand is a service that this person provides and so content is created with photos of the person showing what they offer and do. You are the brand, vs a product. It’s more creative than a simple headshot shoot. Standard headshots are shoulder high photos. People usually use these photos for their LinkedIn or email signature. A personal brand shoot goes further and takes a more lifestyle approach to the subjects photos. In these San Diego Personal Branding Photos | Bloom Alliances, was launching their website and needed photos, both of herself and still life to bring her website to life!

Since you are the brand, potential clients want to know who you are and who they are working with. So this is a great way to showcase who you are. It is very common for people to choose who they work with because of how they feel about them. They may find something in common with you, something that resonates with them. Or you share similar lifestyles or interests. Whatever it may be, this is the PERSONAL part of the personal branding session. Your photographer will help you come out of your shell!

Before your actual personal branding photo session. You and your photographer should have at least 2 calls prior to. These are as important as the day of the shoot. You will review ideas, objectives goals, location, wardrobe, props and more. Can’t just show up to the shoot cold turkey. You need to have a plan in mind and shot list. This of course doesn’t mean that you can’t be open to impromptu shots. You most certainly can! Having some of the groundwork done ahead of time is valuable! Make sure your looks are fully picked out, from hair to shoes. You don’t want to waste valuable shoot time finalizing a look.
