San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | M + J
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love making clients civil wedding feel special! Since Covid, there has been a spike in civil ceremonies. It caused couples to really focus on themselves as a couple and their love. Leaving the stress of organizing a whole traditional wedding behind. Now many couples are doing both. They are having a San Diego civil ceremony and then later on having a big party. It’s your wedding, you can do whatever pleases you. That is the ease and simplicity of a civil wedding. Flexibility! In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | M + J celebrated their day with close family. Their family flew in from out of town and got to enjoy San Diego’s amazing fall weather!

Though civil weddings are a lot less overwhelming, that doesn’t mean it takes away from the emotions of the day. I still get many couples who cry doing their vows or get all choked up in seeing their partner when we do a first look. There are still many activities that you can bring over from traditional weddings like a first look, being walked down the aisle and saying your vows. Make sure to discuss with your photographer which things you would like to include or not include so that your day is exactly how you pictured it.

Yes, the San Diego County Administrator building is still under construction. It was supposed to finish last year but things are still in the works. No need to stress, there are plenty of spots still available to shoot and the others you can work around it. Make sure to do a wedding walk thru with your photographer to make sure you know what to expect. They should know all the good spots to photograph at to keep you at ease.
