San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | J + C
As a San Diego elopement photographer, I get clients who want to have an intimate wedding on the beach, or clients who have their San Diego civil ceremony photographed. The latter meaning they get their San Diego marriage license and have their ceremony right afterwards. You can certainly add locations after getting your ceremony photographed in case you did want the beach. Just make sure to plan accordingly with your ceremony time. You want to make sure you have enough time to get to the beach and have light. The easiest route of course is to stay at Waterfront Park. With so many different backdrops, you will have plenty of beautiful wedding photos! These San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | J + C, show you just that! Even with the San Diego county administrator building still being under remodel!

If you are wondering how do I get married at the San Diego Courthouse, I have this guide that can help you get more information. Of course, to have the most updated information always reach out to the county office. What I have found the most helpful on their site, is the page that lists out all events that will be happening at waterfront park. This is important to note, because this means that the west side, and almost all of the park will be closed off. So your ceremony could not take place at the usual arbor, located on the west side. You would have your ceremony on the east side. And for picture taking around waterfront park, you are very limited.

If your wedding date does fall under one of the dates that impacts the west side, no need to panic. You can always head down to seaport village or Balboa Park. Both locations are very close and offer diverse backdrops for your wedding couple portraits. As far as the ceremony goes, as it is east facing and there isn’t much coverage, I would try to get an afternoon ceremony time slot. Unless of course it’s overcast that day. Then you are fine.
