San Diego Courthouse Wedding | R+J
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love how much couples enjoy the ease and stress free experience of a San Diego civil wedding. If you don’t want to worry about a full day timeline and a huge guest list, than this is a great option for you. Many couples have their ceremony at the San Diego county administrator office, either alone or with close family and friends, and then they go out to eat afterwards. Or they have some type of eating festivity at their home. Super simple experience but filled with so much love and emotion. By removing the stress, you are able to fully be present on your wedding day and actually talk to your guests. In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding | R+J, were surrounded by close family and enjoyed a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant.

For the most part, most couples choose the outdoor location for their ceremony. As you can see, this couple chose the indoor one. So if you are curious to see what I looks like, I hope these photos help. Please note that, unless there is an event going on that is obstructing the west side arbor, we can always do a mock ceremony outside if you decide last minute you want “ceremony” photos taken outdoors. The outdoor arbor is always outside. We just need to wait to make sure there isn’t another ceremony taking place at that time.

Lately I have had some couples get their license in a separate appointment. So when you book your appointment, you can choose if you want just license, just ceremony or both license and ceremony. Those that choose license only may be because they are having their ceremony somewhere else or they are waiting to have their ceremony at the courthouse another day. Those that choose just ceremony, is because they already have their license and just need to actually have their ceremony. Most people choose to do both license and ceremony for the convenience of getting everything done at once. I did not note a time difference with those just choosing to do them separately. We still waited around the same amount of time.
