San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | C + N
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love wedding during the late fall through early spring. This is because sunset is right around the last appointments at the county office. Last appointment is usually at 4:30pm. So when we have sunsets around 5:30/6pm, we get to enjoy the San Diego county admin or waterfront park in both daylight and dusk! Post magic hour or sunset hour is ten to fifteen minutes of what’s called blue hour. This is when the sun is down, but the light is still shining and everything just looks magical! In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | C + N, celebrated their love with their close family. A San Diego civil ceremony with epic backdrops!

When you book the last time slot for your San Diego marriage license, which is 4:30pm, It flows well to go into dinner after your wedding portraits. After we finish the friends and family portion, your guests can head over to where your dinner or reception will be. You can give yourself an hour for couple photos or even two hours if you want to go somewhere like the beach or Balboa Park. Balboa Park is a short drive away but makes you feel like you are miles away from home!

If you are more of a morning person, appointments start as early as 8am. You can definitely count on less people around waterfront park. There are less people getting married in the morning but that doesn’t always mean the appointment goes faster. One thing I would like to point out is that just because your appointment time say is 8:30am, that does not mean you are getting married at exactly 8:30am. There is a check in process and you review and confirm all the information that you input online for the license. So do know that you have some wiggle room.
