La Jolla Wedding Bowl Photos | C + G
As a La Jolla elopement and wedding photographer, it’s always a treat to photograph at Cuvier Park, also known as The Wedding Bowl. The views of La Jolla Cove is spectacular! When the sun is shining, the ocean waters are turquoise! It’s a great location no matter what time of the year! With a maximum capacity of 40 people, this makes for an amazing San Diego micro wedding venue! In these La Jolla Wedding Bowl Photos | C + G celebrated their love along with their three adorable boys! We used the wedding location for the ceremony, friends and family photos and then their formal couple portraits.
They wanted to capture their getting ready moments so they rented a nearby home through air b n b. It also worked out for their immediate family to stay there as well. They saw each other up until they finally got dressed. The first look happened right next to the wedding site. We made sure they didn’t see each other as we photographed their getting ready photos at the home. Then we timed it so their arrival was staggered. We had already chosen the first look spot. I like to meet with my clients within a week or two of the wedding date to finalize all details regarding the wedding.
To end the couples portrait section they rented a classic car to be driven to their reception in Old Town. It’s a fun prop to include in your photos. Make sure to allocate enough time for the car arrival and the end of the formal couple portraits. Something to note is that these cars drive a bit slower. Make sure you allocate enough time to get to the next destination for your wedding. Also, if you are getting married during the week, consider traffic time as well.
