La Jolla Scripps Beach Engagement Photos | Bita + Quinn

As a San Diego engagement photographer, I adore the loving energy during the engagement session. There may be some nerves at the beginning, as this might be their first professional photo session. As a photographer, it is your first priority to make your client feel comfortable with themselves and you throughout the entire session. I had a blast in this La Jolla Scripps Beach Engagement Photos | Bita + Quinn. They were naturals in front of the camera! I always like to start with some posed shots and walking shots to loosen the nerves. It can be scary to have this giant camera staring at you!

Engagement sessions are a great way for your clients to practice getting their photo taken before their wedding date. Helpful tip: I would suggest to your client, if they are getting their make up trial done, to schedule it for the same day as the engagement session. This way their makeup is already done. (Hoping they like it of course). Also they can see how it photographs too.

Another great thing about an engagement session, is that your clients can use it for their save the date card and wedding website. Sometimes many couples only have cell phone photos of themselves. This session gives them the chance to have high quality photos. They can even print some of the photos into canvases or prints to have at their engagement party and / or house.

Your clients can add time to their session to include outfit changes. Helps to have a variety of photos and looks to choose from. Especially If they have trouble choosing an outfit. I like to encourage totally different looks. Like one with a long flowy dress and then another that is casual with shorts or jeans.
