Then trust the guidance of the local photographer for tips on locations, times and protocol. They have done this more times than you and help you with placement and how to position the proposal to make sure the reaction is properly captured!
For all you locals proposing, consider a location that has meaning for you two as a couple. Or a place that resonates with both. Maybe a special park bench, restaurant, walk or maybe a place that’s totally outside your comfort zone. If you are too nervous to think of a location, know that you can always rely on your photographer for advice. They will offer an array of options for you to consider and choose the one that feels the most authentic! At the end of the day, it’s about the moment and not the location.
