La Jolla Cove Family Maternity Photos | T + R
As a San Diego family photographer, it is such an honor to have your clients come back to you year after year! I love getting to see how their families continue to grow and expand! In these La Jolla Cove Family Maternity Photos | T + R are adding another to the group! I started with T + R at their San Diego courthouse wedding and have been on their family journey since then! Family and Maternity combo shoots are so fun because you get to have the sibling to be bond with the bump. Then you also get the couple together ready to welcome their next child and finally you get the mom of two to be! It’s an exciting time!
A great tip for these kind of sessions is to have, if possible, another family member or care taker to help with the present child. It is definitely not necessary, but it does help the couple know they don’t have to have eyes on him or her at all times. Don’t worry, I also help to keep eyes when that does happen. This way the couple can full relax and enjoy some couple photos too. I also like to give the present child some portraits of him or her. We want to remember this time for them and make them feel special too. Some solo shots with dad and existing child are great too. Everyone gets their time with their parent.
Normally I always expect clients to be barefoot when on the beach. You will see here that some photos she is in heels. Please note that we had her walk the uneven ground barefoot and then put her shoes on. If it was flat grass then she walked in her heels. You always want to be careful with heels on uneven ground especially with a pregnant lady. If switching shoes back n forth is in the forecast then definitely suggest to your client that they bring a small towel to wipe off his or her feet before putting shoes back on. This definitely helps in the fall/winter when it’s muddy out.
