La Jolla Cove Engagement Photos | M + W

As a La Jolla engagement photographer, I love that even on an overcast day, you can still get images full of love and light! In these La Jolla Cove Engagement Photos | M + W, were such a laidback couple that you didn’t even notice it was overcast because they didn’t let it bother them. They were go with the flow and were honestly there for a good time! As we saw that the weather was going to be gloomy, we tried to start the session earlier. A tip I always suggest to do in circumstances like this. We weren’t able to start the usual two hours earlier, but I think we had a little bit of a head start. The upside of shooting while it’s overcast at the beach is that the sun is not directly in your eyes. So any spot is game!

The fun thing about engagement sessions is that you can practice getting your photo taken as a couple. For some couples, this is the first time they are getting their photo taken professionally. So it’s totally normal to feel a bit nervous or uncomfortable at first. That is where I come in, I am here not to just take photos, but to also create an environment that helps make you feel comfortable and confident! I help bring you out of your shell! I want you to feel like you just had the best time hanging with your lover! It helps to ease the photo nerves when it’s your wedding day. Plus you have cute photos to use for your save the date or wedding website.

What to wear to your engagement session? That might be the easiest or most challenging aspect when preparing for your engagement session. Do you go formal, casual, cute, the possibilities are endless. I say the simplest thing to go by is whatever makes you feel comfortable. Whatever makes you feel, YES this is us! And sometimes that may be said in two outfits! So go for it, this is your chance to have those long lasting photos!
