High School Senior Grad Portraits | La Jolla | Brianna
As a La Jolla portrait photographer, spring season kicks up into full gear with high school senior portraits! This is a fun time for San Diego high school seniors or college students to capture this milestone in their life. Also a fun way to play dress up with your favorite outfits or college gear. Let’s not forget the cap and gown too! In this High School Senior Grad Portraits | La Jolla | Brianna wanted to have her session with the beautiful La Jolla coastline as her backdrop! I did that too when I was at La Jolla High School!

For your senior portraits, feel free to include your significant other, your sibling, etc. In this San Diego senior portrait session, Brianna had her sister join her for a little. It is a cute memory to have with your sister. Brianna also brought along her college gear for University of Tennessee, where she will be attending in the fall. Her casual lifestyle outfits paired well with her future school!

If you want multiple outfits, I would suggest booking more time with your photographer. This allows you to get into the groove of the shoot and comfortable in front of the camera. I would suggest 1 outfit per 30 minutes of shooting. Accessories are fun too! Feel free to ask your photographer for feedback on your outfit choices. They may have some good advice on what photographs well and what doesn’t. This also helps you plan ahead so you are not rushing the day of your session trying to figure out your outfits.

Make sure your clothes are steamed and ironed. A lint roller is very handy, although your photographer should have one. When wearing black, a lot of lint and hairs can show. I would also bring a comb, especially if you are in a windy area or photographing by the water. It helps keep the fly aways from, well, flying away!
