Encinitas Lifestyle Branding Photographer | Revo Dogs
As an Encinitas lifestyle photographer, I enjoy learning about a company’s brand and how I can help amplify it with a branding photoshoot. My all time favorite is working with start up brands and companies. The task of creating content for its debut is super important and a privilege to be a part of! It all doesn’t just happen on shoot day. Preparation and pre production work is what makes for a smooth shoot. In these Encinitas Lifestyle Branding Photographer | Revo Dogs, I worked with their marketing team to come up with ideas for the shoot. They presented me with a moldboard and they confirmed the talent. I scouted the locations with them and we set forth the timeline for the afternoon shoot. The more you prep, the better!

As this is a lifestyle shoot, you set the scene for the product. You create content for future clients to see themself in that photo. So I made sure to take photos showing the dogs having fun with their owners yet still keeping the focus on the product. Making sure the logo is clearly seen on the leashes. Showing how the owners interact with their dogs, using the leash. So I would take the scene from a macro to a micro perspective. This way we capture the feel of the brand but clients can also see what the product looks like.

We created stories with every dog. One was a family dog, another is a work out dog, a kid friendly dog, etc. This way we could appeal to a large market of clientele. Creating stories makes it easier to envision the different shots to take. You ask yourself, what would this person be doing with their dog, what would they be wearing, how would they interact with their dog. All of this context helps create the content.
