WEDDING photos: Coronado Community Center
Could not say more great things about shooting wedding photos at the Coronado Community Center! As I mentioned I love having diverse backgrounds for your shoots and this place did that and more! We also used the Blue Watergrill Boathouse tower, Coronado Beach, and of course the famous Hotel Del for the getting ready photos.
Coronado Island has such a fun vibe, you feel like you are on a permanent vacation. So it is a great area for your wedding venue. I will say this, do keep an eye out for traffic, there are only two ways in to Coronado, through the bridge and through Imperial Beach. It was a beautiful wedding and the bride and groom could not stop smiling!
Ceremony took place on the grassy area right outside the Coronado Community Center. The cocktail hour was steps away at the outdoor patio. The reception was right next door inside the ballroom. So rain or shine, you are covered 😉 It’s such a relief when everything is nearby. That allows for more photo time and strips away the worry of having to get to places on time. We did some formal portraits out by the docks too before heading over to the Blue Watergrill Boathouse. The views from the top were amazing!!
The reception party was so much fun! Great music and dancing!! Their first dance was beautiful! Bride and groom were not shy at all to get their faces dirty when it was time to cut the wedding cake! Nothing says forever like cake in your face 😉
The sunset was beautiful as well and naturally we had to snap a few shots there too! Sunset always seals the deal 🙂 There was so much love and the groom was totally in to taking as many photos as his bride wanted. WINNING!!
