The Wedding Bowl La Jolla Elopement Photos | D + A
As a La Jolla wedding photographer, I love capturing intimate elopements. What is an elopement? It is a more intimate version of a wedding. Here you will find just the couple and the officiant or perhaps a small group of guests, around 20 or less. Elopements are for those couples who don’t want to stress with adhering to a wedding timeline, and making sure guests are entertained. If you want to focus on yourselves and your love and do things your way, then you should definitely consider eloping. That is exactly what D + A did! They had a San Diego destination elopement, as they were coming in from Arizona. In these The Wedding Bowl La Jolla Elopement Photos | D + A celebrated with a couple and themselves.

The overcast weather started early this spring, but they brought their light of love to the session! The bright side of overcast weather at the beach is that you have complete liberty to photograph anywhere! You don’t have to wait for the magic hour light for the sun to dim down. So we were able to shoot freely throughout our San Diego elopement session. Another plus about “bad weather” is that there are less people out. So less photoshopping work! Always a plus!

The Wedding Bowl in La Jolla is an amazing spot to get married, especially if you are looking for a more intimate wedding or micro wedding. A micro wedding is taking a full day wedding into a smaller, more condense day. Especially the guest list. The guest limit is 40 at the Wedding Bowl, so make sure to plan accordingly. Also, it is for the ceremony only, no reception allowed. You have to get a permit too, so make sure you give yourself enough time to book that before sending out any invites.
