San Marcos Courthouse Wedding Photos | Maggie + Kevin
As a San Marcos courthouse wedding photographer, I love providing different backdrops for my couples! Having a San Diego courthouse wedding keeps the focus on the couple, instead of having to please a large amount of guests. The day is about the couples love and I want to enhance that feeling with their photography session. Make sure to check out my guide on How To Get Married at the San Diego Courthouse for more detail info. If you are looking for less stress and more fun on your wedding day, I would highly recommend a San Diego civil wedding. You can pick from different locations. In these San Marcos Courthouse Wedding Photos | Maggie + Kevin went with the San Marcos location and we drove just 5 min to a second location for their couple portraits.

Now, just because you are having a civil wedding, that does not mean you can’t incorporate some traditional wedding customs to your day. Maggie and Kevin decided on having a “first look”. This is where the couple sees each other for the first time. You can choose to have your first look private or have your guests watch. Totally up to you. Let your photographer know so they can make sure to set up the scene how you wish.

If there is a location that has great meaning or resonates a lot with you and your partner, let your photographer know. A separate location can always be added to do your formal couple portraits. You are not limited to the San Diego county office where received your marriage license. There are lots of places you can go to like the beach, Balboa Park, any place that is able to have photos be taken at. Feel free to customize this day as much as you wish to the two of you!
