San Diego Family Photos | A + H
As a San Diego family photographer, the fall season is full with families getting their portraits taken. Why? Cause it’s the holiday season and people want to have fresh photos for their holiday card! In San Diego we don’t get THAT much of a fall season, but there are some places that make you feel like you are in the Rockies or the east coast. If you aren’t that keen on that fall look, then I would suggest picking a warmer time of the year if you want beach photos for your holiday card. In San Diego, there are few spots where you can see the fall foliage. Outside of San Diego, you can visit Julian or Cuyamaca. They have a lot of fall foliage and mountain areas. It is a little but more of a drive, like an hour. In these San Diego Family Photos | A + H, we stayed local and took advantage of all the fall leaves we could!

Are you just loving the girls outfits? I met A on a Wild Wawa shoot, where I was photographing her daughter. They are both wearing Wild Wawa outfits and they are just adorable! I always suggest to my clients to check out what Wild Wawa has, because they have those one of a kind pieces that are so photo worthy! The neutral color palette is just so soft and delicate. The quality of their fabrics is just superb! You can never go wrong with their heirloom pieces! You will want to keep them forever! Now that I have a son, I can be a client as well!

If you are looking for the romantic magic hour light, the best time to shoot is of course at sunset. Now, keep in mind that when you are shooing near hills or mountains, the sun dips earlier than the scheduled sunset. So always add some time as a buffer. You don’t want to be rushing and loosing the light behind the mountain. I always start at least 30 minutes earlier than usual to make sure I don’t miss the light!
