San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | R + B

As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love the excitement that an easy civil wedding conveys. Many people think that just because it’s a courthouse wedding that all the feels of a traditional wedding will not show. That couldn’t be farther from the truth! A civil wedding makes you feel all the feels! Maybe even more as you are not stressing about a big traditional wedding agenda. Big traditional weddings can feel daunting and overwhelming. This is why many couples choose the simplicity of a civil wedding. In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | R + B, had a beautiful wedding shared with their family and friends!

You will notice that the outdoor ceremony took place at a different location than normal. Usually the outdoor location is on the west side of Waterfront Park. There are times throughout the year that restricts access to the west side arbor. This is due to events that are being set up for like a concert or festival. They are listed on the San Diego marriage license website. Should your wedding date fall on one of these dates, have no fear. There are other outdoor location spots available to you to use, as seen in this post. If you are set on the bougainvillea arbor, then make sure to check the calendar to see what dates are being impacted so you don’t book within those dates.

As you see how lush the bougainvillea is, you can understand why many people are set on the arbor with the bougainvillea! As a reference, this San Diego civil wedding took place in April. Spring weddings usually have nice florals and lush plants. It can vary though, depending on the rainfall for that year. But you can count on these for spring and early summer.
