San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | N + R
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love the intimacy of a San Diego civil wedding. There is no fuss, no timeliness stress. The worry of entertaining a hundred guests is gone! You can still have guests at your San Diego marriage license ceremony, but there is no having to usher guests here and there. Everyone can show up at the San Diego County Admin office and be ready to celebrate you! I highly encourage the outdoor ceremony, on the west side arbor. If you think it’s going to be a rainy day you can opt for indoor. If it’s not raining, you can ask them if they can move it outside. In this San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | N + R celebrated with their close family under a beautiful sunny sky! We then took the wedding portraits on an adventure to Balboa Park!

I love the flexibility of a courthouse wedding. You can create your own timeline, that starts and finishes or pause at any time of the day or day of the week. You can kick off your wedding weekend on a Friday. Or you can finish the wedding weekend by getting married on a Monday. You can get over the midweek hump by getting married on Wednesday! It’s all up to you. One Note- for a Saturday wedding, you can check out the Santee office. They offer one Saturday a month. Unfortunately, the San Diego office does not offer weekends, so do take that into account when planning your wedding day.

Another note about planning the wedding date is that you can only book your wedding ceremony appointment 45 days in advance of your desired date. So if you are having guests, let them know your desired date and to keep open plus or minus a few days in case your date is not available. A helpful tip is to set your alarm for midnight, 45 days in advance to be the first on the appointment calendar.
