San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | I + S
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love having new places to photograph at! No matter how many times I photograph there, it never gets old! Locations can vary on the day depending if there are obstructions or not. You can always see if there will be events going on at Waterfront park during your wedding date here. So it’s always a great idea to have a few spots in mind to choose from on the wedding day. In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | I + S, had every spot at their disposal. We even hopped to the back part of the outdoor location, toward Ash St. to photograph where the San Diego County Office Seal is located.

Winter weddings are becoming very popular! Who doesn’t love sporting a beautiful white winter coat for their formal wedding couple portraits! Though we are a beach town, we can certainly get that city feel and look with the San Diego downtown buildings and parts of the San Diego county administrator building which is where you get your San Diego marriage license from. Though we refer to them as courthouse weddings, really they are San Diego civil weddings. You are not actually getting married inside a courthouse but rather inside at the county office or outdoors at their arbor.

There is definitely plenty of walking to do around the county office so wear comfy shoes or bring comfortable shoes to change in if necessary. I highly suggest breaking in your shoes, but if you don’t have time to do so, then bring bandaids and an extra pair. I have had brides in pain right after their ceremony and needed to change out of their shoes. Not without getting the cute photo first of course! So plan ahead or bring back up!
