San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | E + B

As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I enjoy the the excitement that couples have to make this commitment to one another. Even if you have been together ten years or 2 years, the love and emotion is always there. One may think that a San Diego civil wedding won’t bring out the tears, but let me tell you, they sure do come out! So if you are hesitant about moving forward with a San Diego courthouse wedding because you think it won’t me as emotional as a “traditional” wedding, have no fear, you will get a tear! In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | E + B shared this special moment with close family.

You may notice that the parts of the grassy area are a bit brown. Waterfront Park is right outside the San Diego county recorder’s office. This is where your outdoor ceremonies takes place and where most couples have their portraits taken. Waterfront park is also home to many events. Unfortunately, if you book your wedding after one of these weekend events, there is a high chance that the grass may not look as healthy as crowds have people have walked all over them. Fortunately, the San Diego marriage license website has a link where you can check which weekends may have events. You can find it HERE.

Keep in mind that even though the event is only on the weekend, set up can start on a Thursday, especially if the event starts on a Friday. Breakdown can also take place on Monday. So make sure to give yourself plus or minus a few days. Now, if you are set on having your courthouse wedding date on a specific day, then I would highly suggest considering the other locations. There is Santee and San Marcos which I have photographed at and highly recommend! There is also the Chula Vista location, however I have yet to photograph there.
