San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | B + O

As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love when couples want to add a little adventure to their special day. Besides taking photos at Waterfront Park, which is right next to the San Diego County Administrator office, they opt for Balboa Park or the beach. There are many beautiful beaches to choose from in San Diego, my favorite being La Jolla Cove. In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | B + O celebrated with their close family and then headed to La Jolla Cove to continue their formal couple portraits. What a beautiful December day it was, the sunset was epic! December is a great month to get your San Diego marriage license!

In previous posts, I mentioned how you are now allowed to say your on vows. I have seen where the officiant lets you say it during the actual ceremony that they perform. In this ceremony, however, they asked that they say their own personal vows after the officiant performs the ceremony. So be prepared for either scenario. It could be due to timing and how busy they are that day or not. It was a Thursday, not too busy as a Friday. If you prefer to say your own vows privately, make sure to let your photographer know so he or she can prepare a location for that to occur.

Usually when people add a second location, that means they add another hour of time to their wedding photo coverage. You want to make sure you have adequate time to get your formal couple portraits taken. Though your appointment is set for a certain time, it doesn’t mean that your ceremony starts right then and there. You have to check in and get your paperwork processed which could take twenty minutes or even forty five minutes. Make sure you buffer for any delays in processing. So if you are adding another location, I would make sure you calculate time should the ceremony run late.
