Mission Beach Family Photos | C + M
As a San Diego family photographer, I notice how the summertime brings in even more tourists than usual. San Diego is definitely a vacation destination and what better way to capture the trip then with professional photos! This way you don’t have a whole memory scroll of selfies. Selfies are great, but let’s see that cute outfit, or some candid shots! That’s what I would like to provide for you! So always remember to pack that cute outfit or two! I don’t often photograph at Mission Beach because of the crowds. As it was a weekday and using the bay, we were able to get some memorable shots for this Mission Beach Family Photos | C + M. They were visiting from Arizona.
To make sure I had a lot of different backdrops, I also included the walkways from the beach to the bay. If you pick the right one, you can have green palms and vibrant flowers! Since they wanted to take this opportunity to have some individual photos of the high school kids for their high school portraits, I made sure to give each student a backdrop that matched their look and vibe. We also made sure to do a lot of different combinations with group shots and then smaller groups.
Normally, I request a family list to make sure we get each group. In this case, it was small enough that I didn’t request a list. I did, however, ask what the must haves were to make sure we covered that. Also, always insist on individual portraits. They may think they don’t want any, but in the end they do. It never hurts to have more options to choose from than to not have a variety for them. The more diverse your backdrops, the better too!
