Fall Winter 2020 Collection | Wild Wawa
It’s finally cold weather in San Diego! Bring out your fall and winter coats and jackets. Time for fall family portraits! If you are still looking for those adorable outfits for your little ones, I am happy to finally show you the Fall Winter 2020 Collection | Wild Wawa! As always, they offer the cutest pieces for your baby or toddler.
They have their staple neutral colored outfits but also offering some bold red and mustard pieces! These outfits are so cute I wish some were offered in my size! Since they tend to stay in their neutral color palette, it’s easy to combine past season looks with current ones.
The kids had a great time playing around in this La Jolla Wooded area. Plenty of distractions to keep them entertained and for creating beautiful candid capture! Wild Wawa, also had some stunning props to create that holiday spirit! They are such a creative and artistic team!
I cannot stress enough how important it is to organize your looks when shooting a campaign. I have been shooting with Wild Wawa for a couple years now and we always make sure everything is as prepped as possible. We want to make sure we have at least 2 or 3 “stations” where we want to pose the kids, although we also let them roam free. We also have all the outfits labeled and numbered so each parent can make sure they are dressing their child in the correct look.
What we learned from the last shoot is to stagger the shoot into two groups with less kids. This way it doesn’t feel like a circus with kids everywhere. Some outfits are by groups, so they are scheduled together.
Snacks and liquids are also important, but make sure to have wipes nearby so you don’t get crumbs on the outfits and stains on their face! have them snack while changing so that it doesn’t get in the way of the shot. Also, shoes by Starry Knight Design.
