I am on the search for fun, cool, up and coming fashion brands so I can expand more into the fashion photography world. I would love to take a road trip somewhere in Southern California or the rockies and mix my love for travel photography and fashion photography! For these commercial photos: PinkBlush Print Maternity Swim, I had a short road trip to Orange County.
There was a sand bar so I thought it would be fun to have the model sit in it and throw sand up in the air. Being careful with her eyeballs of course 😉 The tide was starting to come up so we made sure to play it safe near the rocks.
A good tip if you shoot on the beach a lot, or seldom is to download the Surfline app on your phone. This way you can check the tides at whatever beach you are shooting at. A very useful tool so that you don’t end up completely soaked or unable to access part of a beach you had planned for a particular photo opportunity!
