Encinitas Lifestyle Photos | Wild Wawa

As a Encinitas lifestyle photographer, I love working with brands over and over again. You really create and foster a great working relationship where you thoroughly understand the identity of the brand. Photographing a brand is one thing, but understanding it is another. The longer you work with a brand the more you will know. When working with a brand for the first time, then you definitely focus on the pre shoot calls to make sure you understand their objectives for their brand and lifestyle shoot! In these Encinitas Lifestyle Photos | Wild Wawa was showcasing their fall children’s line. They break each seasonal collection with drops, smaller capsules. They roll them out throughout the season. It’s a great strategy that doesn’t overwhelm their clients.

Choosing a location for your lifestyle shoot is important. You want to make sure it makes sense and helps tell the story. The DNA behind the brand is a wild and free child, so we always shoot outside and in nature! Whenever possible, barefoot. Of course safety first, so depends on how grassy the location is. We still add props to the shoot to keep that cohesiveness throughout the season. Big wicker baskets and florals that go with the season. What started out as props for the shoot like little bags and wands has now become a part of their collection. Parents raved about it so much that they became a part of it!

Tips when photographing little ones, stagger the start times. You don’t want them waiting around because their attention span will disappear. Have their parents bring them snacks. Make sure the snacks don’t the color. Neutral snacks that won’t stain their face or the samples! Always have wipes nearby! It’s always a good idea to reward them with snacks in between changing outfits!
