Encinitas Landscape Photos | Soil and Sea | Cambridge

As a San Diego landscape photographer, I never tire of seeing such beautiful work with nature! It takes a special landscape design eye to transform a piece of property, no matter the size. I absolutely love working with Soil + Sea landscape design. I get to see some amazing properties and the stunning work they do. I never could have imagined how to transform front yards, backyards, side yards, etc! It really takes special talent! In these Encinitas Landscape Photos | Soil and Sea | Cambridge, I got to see how you can take a small front yard and make it feel like a huge welcoming entertainment area. So much for me to capture!

The best time to capture these incredible San Diego landscape design projects is at sunset and into blue hour. The majority of these projects have cool light installations. In order to best see them, it needs to be a little dark. So blue hour works out perfectly! You want to have even light hitting the patio or yard so that nothing is too harsh with the lights and shadows. You could also do early morning too. It’s important to know which direction the house or yard faces to see when the light is most optimal.

It’s also important to note, that with landscape photography, you want to see things from all different angles and heights. Go high and get low! I even get behind plants and trees to get an innovative perspective. You don’t want to always go with the viewpoint of a human, getting into nature allows you to capture a unique perspective. The goal is to create images that your landscape design client can excite their client on the prospects of their home! So get creative with angles!
