Del Mar Real Estate Lifestyle Shoot | Compass + Lola Pop Media

As a San Diego photographer I love doing lifestyle photoshoots of brands and people. It hadn’t even occurred to me to apply this to the real estate world! San Diego real estate is huge and Lola Pop Media has been doing a lot of Real Estate videos for luxury properties in San Diego. They want to integrate photography as well and asked me to participate in this San Diego Real Estate lifestyle shoot in Del Mar for a Compass listing. What a fun combo, beautiful real estate and photography! Spectacular ocean views!

Lola Pop Media started with shooting the interview with the Compass listing agent to explain the history and background of the property. I shot candid behind the scenes photos of Brett Combs. Then we going to shoot talent around some of the rooms in the house and also at a nearby restaurant to get a feeling of the vibe of the neighborhood.

We started with the kitchen and office area first. The home is newly remodeled and I loved every detail of it! So as done in any lifestyle shoot, we created life like everyday events you would do in the home. This type of photography makes it easy for the future clients or people to visualize themselves in the property. See what can be done and how you can live there.

The master bathroom was a dream!!! So much natural light and spectacular ocean front views, you would never want to leave! The master closet had a built in coffee maker!!! You pretty much never have to leave the master bedroom on the weekends! Such important details really make a home stand out!

There were so many rooms in the home we chose only a few to shoot in. Mainly wanted to highlight the important ones such as: Kitchen, office, wine cellar, gym and sauna, in home theatre room and master. Always important to focus on certain rooms and have the appropriate props and styling ready for the shoot.
