As a San Diego family photographer, there is nothing cuter than a mommy and me portrait session. I always hear moms say they don’t have a moment to themselves. To get dressed up, their hair and get all dolled up! What better excuse than to have a mommy and me family session! Make you feel like the strong woman that you are and also the super mom too! In these Balboa Park Family Photos | A + I celebrated her son’s second birthday! We strolled through the beautiful Balboa Park and set up some spots to have his balloon.
A morning session was scheduled as it flowed better with the nap schedule. It’s always strongly suggested to work around the baby or toddler’s sleep schedule. A well rested baby is a happy baby! A happy baby makes for smiling photos! Of course that won’t last the entire session, but some are better than none! When the time comes, and it will come, have some treats or toys nearby to bribe the little one. Remember that treats should not be colored nor crumbly. You don’t want to have any stains on the clothes or around their mouths.
Balboa Park is a great location for toddlers. There is plenty of area for them to run around. You don’t have to worry about them running into the ocean and getting wet. At the park, there is plenty for them to be curious about and explore. These are the magic candid shots. The tickle effect is always the #1 go to if kids start to get grumpy or upset. They can’t resist those cuddles and tickles. This will help turn their sad and angry faces into smiles and laughs! Once the laughter unleashes, there is no stopping them!
