As a San Diego branding photographer, I get to work with all different types of clients. From children’s fashion brands to personal branding clients. No matter the kind, what they all have in common is the need to have their message conveyed visually. In these San Diego Kids Fashion Photographer | Wild Wawa is showcasing their spring 2025 collection. Wild Wawa is a brand that boasts high quality heirloom products with an airy and wild flare! Soft colors, playful fun, being a care free kid!
For spring, we usually shoot at the beach or this green forest type park in Encinitas. To add extra spring flare, flowers were added and soft straw baskets. Props worked great with the kids. It helped them be distracted and create those soft candids. Also decor that matched the prints from the outfits were a great way to decorate the surroundings. We would keep the shoots at two to three kids per session. This way when one was getting the ready the other would be photographed. We kept the shoots short so the kids wouldn’t get tired.
As a San Diego lifestyle photographer, I enjoy working with clients who create such amazing products! It’s such an important task as a photographer to be able to understand the feel of a brand. When working with a client for the first time, it’s important to speak with them before the session to understand what their goals are, objectives, the message they want to convey. Prepping for a shoot is just as important as the shoot day itself. Have in mind the images you want to capture, how to incorporate the surroundings and scenery into the shoot. Also prepare yourself for the weather conditions and the lighting. For kids the earlier the better.
