San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | V + R
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love the intimacy and ease of capturing two people say “I Do”. They are not worried about full day timelines, entertaining a whole lot of guests and making sure everything they have been planning for months goes smoothly. With a San Diego civil wedding, couples can simply focus on their love and their promises to each other. That is what a wedding day should be all about anyway! You should be excited and not feel overwhelmed. San Diego office offers a beautiful backdrop! There are other locations as well. In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | V + R took me back in time with their style! I felt I was photographing an Old Hollywood couple!

You can book your San Diego civil ceremony forty five days out. You can do your San Diego marriage license and ceremony at the same appointment. They allocate an hour for both but in my experience, depending on how busy they are, it can take twenty minutes, to forty five minutes to on their busiest day an hour. It is better to be prepared and thus be with your clients from the time their appointment starts. You don’t want to worry about missing it as it’s not an exact time. There will be pauses in between their check in time where you can photograph them indoors.

For best lighting during your couple portraits, I have some time suggestions. I would book either the first two morning appointments, or two to three hours before sunset. You can always google your wedding date or desired wedding date and sunset time. That way you can accurately calculate the ceremony time. I used to say two hours before sunset, but since the start time of the ceremony can vary, better to have some buffer time just in case.
