San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | D + K
As a San Diego courthouse wedding photographer, I love when couples add a personal touch to their civil wedding day! This couple met and had their first date at Pali Wine Co, in Little Italy. They asked them if they could take photos there as a toast to celebrating their wedding day! Although they were poured wine, it was a morning wedding and so it was an honorable toast. I think it’s great when couples choose a location that resonates with them and will make their wedding day photos even more nostalgic! In these San Diego Courthouse Wedding Photos | D + K, started with Pali Wine bright and early and then we headed to the San Diego County Administrator building for their ceremony.

Pali Wine was so cool to open up shop early for us to come photograph there. The staff were super accommodating and I got to visit a new spot! It was great for photo taking, especially since we had the place to ourselves! It was a super bright morning, and Pali Wine faces east, but we intentionally started at eight in the morning to avoid harsh light! Gave us more shade on the west side of the San Diego county admin building during their couple photos. Your photographer can always warm up the photos in post production.

For those considering a summer San Diego civil wedding at the San Diego county administrator building, I highly suggest choosing the very first or very last appointment to avoid the heat. This is more for the late July thru early Sept wedding dates. May and June get some gray and gloomy weather, for the most part. So plan accordingly and remember to set your alarm 45 days out prior to desired wedding date!
